Domiciliary care can also be referred to as home care. It is an alternative to residential and nursing care. Domiciliary care enables those we care for to remain in the comfort of their own homes.
Domiciliary care can be offered in a number of capacities. The intensity and frequency of the visits will depend on the service user’s circumstances and needs. Whether you or your loved ones need assistance for a few hours, days, several weeks or ongoing support.
SuppLiCan Care and Support will provide you with a team of carers who will rotate on a shift bases. We aim to provide the same familiar faces for consistency and continuity of care.
What's Included In Our Domiciliary Care Services ?
–Support with hobbies and interests.
–Shopping, light housework and laundry.
–Social care support and encouragement.
–Meal preparation based on their dietary needs.
–Home care and assistance including personal care.
–Making appointments, maintaining records, keeping diaries.
–Companionship for the clients and accompanying them to social activities.
–Administering or prompting of medication as well as attending medical appointments.
–Carers a valid driving licence can drive with suitable insurance (insurance will need to be arranged by the client).
–Promoting independence and ensuring our clients are included in their care by offering them choices and a voice.
